Bright Hope Club 512-LVA is an academic enrichment program for school age children. We provide individualized lesson plans, study guides, and achievement markers to help each student reach their maximum potential.

Bright Hope Club 512-LVA's mission is to empower children ages 4 to 12 to grow into confident, compassionate leaders through community, creative learning and character building experiences. We nurture a safe space where every child can feel seen, valued and inspired to shine because every future begins with hope!

Malinda Keyes
Lead Child Care Assistant

Mrs. Malinda prepares the healthy snacks for our children

With more than 8 years of child care experience and over 19 years supporting children with special needs, Malinda brings both compassion and expertise to her role as Lead Child Care Assistant. She is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels supported and able to thrive.

Patricia J. Braxton holds a degree in Business Administration and brings more than 30 years of experience in Business Management. She has also spent over two decades working directly with children through education, mentoring, and hands-on roles in the child care field. Mrs. Braxton is supported in daily operations by a team all with deep expertise in child care and education.

Her mission is to ensure every child feels seen, valued and inspired to shine. With her leadership, the financial and executive support of the board of directors, and the dedicated work of the onsite team, the program sets ambitious goals so that each child not only meets but exceeds learning standards. 

Danielle Beatty
Child Care Assistant

Mrs. Beatty brings that job and a smile every day.

Danielle brings more than 30 years of experience in child care and health care, offering a deep well of knowledge and compassion to the children she serves. Before joining Bright Hope, she currently works with Lynchburg City Schools as a Transition Instructional Assistant, supporting elementary students for over three years. 

All staff are First Aid and CPR certified and complete a minimum of 16 hours of mandatory professional training and development each year. In addition, they participate in an annual 3-hour health and safety update to ensure the highest standards of care.
